Dr. Kerulis and The Chicago Psyching Team Volunteer at the Chicago 13.1

Dr. Michele Kerulis and members of the Chicago Psyching Team recently participated in the Bank of America Chicago 13.1. During the third annual half marathon, a sold-out field of 10,000 runners came together on Chicago’s West Side Sunday, June 9, 2024 for the second annual Bank of America Chicago 13.1. According to race organizers, “The 2024 event built on the vision to reimagine what running can be in Chicago with a mix of wellness activities and entertainment for participants and community members.”

The Psyching Team are medical volunteers who specialize in mental health counseling and sport psychology. During this event, they helped runners celebrate at the finish line and they assisted with a full spectrum of emotions that people experience on race day. Next year’s event will take place on June 1, 2025.

What’s Next for the Chicago Psyching Team?
